Born An Angel
He
lived
in our arms for 1.5 hours.
Once in every life time we are truely blessed.
For a brief moment in time
We were blessed with a Son.
A tiny little angel sent from God
Altho you could not stay,
you were born Gods Silent Angel
You touched our hearts with so much joy
Oliver, Our sweet baby son
You have left your footprints
all over our hearts.
"Once in a while a child comes into this world
so special that the angels need this precious one
to sing in heaven and light up the world from above."
A note to our special little boy
Oliver you were so longed for,
you are and will always be so loved.
Always our first little child,
always our first little son.
You will never be forgotten.
One day, when it's our turn to be with Jesus,
Mummy and Daddy will hold you again in heaven.
Our Precious Little Angel,
Our precious little angel,
He could not stay long.
Enough to steal your heart away
Then force you to be strong.
Enough to show you in a glimpse,
How wonderful life can be.
And how no wealth or worldly good,
Could take the place of Thee.
Little Angel in a cloud
Looking down upon his family.
Feeling forever proud
That for a time, however short,
He had the chance to be
Our Little Precious Angel,
So Beautiful to see.

We wrote your name on the sand, but the waves washed it away.
We wrote
your name on the sky, but the wind blew it away.
We wrote your name in
our hearts, and forever it'll stay
Don't Cry Daddy
Don't cry for me Daddy
I am right here
Although you can't see me
I see your tears
I visit you often
I go to work with you each day
And when it's time to close your eyes
On your pillow is where I lay
I hold your hand and stroke your hair
And whisper in your ear
If your sad today Daddy
Remember I am here
God took me home
This we know is true
But you'll always be my Daddy
Even though I'm not with you
I am Daddy's little boy
We will never be apart
For every time you think of me
Please know I'm in your heart.

Little One
I know my Mom is crying,
As my Dad sits by her side,
Cause I was their little one,
I made them full of pride.
I wish I could come to them,
And tell them not to cry,
Cause life goes on without me,
And they're going to have to try.
I'm sure the both are wondering
Why God took me away,
But, there won't be an answer,
As they ask why each day.
Life will go on for both of you,
And surely there is so much more,
As we all will meet again
And it will be at Heaven's door.
Remembering
Go ahead and mention my child,
The one that died, you know.
Don't worry about hurting me further,
The depth of my pain doesn't show.
Don't worry about making me cry,
I am already crying inside.
Help me to heal by releasing
The tears I try to hide.
I'm hurt when you just keep silent,
Pretending he didn't exist.
I'd rather you mention my child,
Knowing that he has been missed.
You asked me how I was doing.
I say "pretty good" or "fine".
But healing is something ongoing.
I feel it will take a lifetime.

Mark Twain attempted to describe the death of his daughter Suzy,
saying that "it would bankrupt all the vocabularies of all the
languages to put it into words"
What Makes A Mother
I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today.
I asked what makes a Mother
And I know I heard Him say.
A Mother has a baby
This we know is true
But God can you be a Mother
When your baby's not with you?
Yes, you can He replied
With confidence in His voice
I give many women babies
When they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime
And others for a day.
And some I send to feel your womb
But there's no need to stay
I just don't understand this, God
I want my baby here
He took a breath and cleared His throat
And then I saw a tear.
I wish I could show you
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child smile
With other children and say
"We go to earth to learn our lessons
Of love and life and fear.
My mommy loved me oh so much
I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mom
Who had so much love for me
I learned my lesson very quickly
My Mommy set me free.
I miss my Mommy oh so much
But I visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep
On her pillow's where I lay.
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek
And whisper in her ear
Mommy don't be sad today
I'm your baby and I'm here."
So you see My dear sweet one
Your child is ok
Your baby is here in My home
And this is where they'll stay.
They'll wait for you with Me
Until your lesson is through.
And on the day that you come home
They'll be at the gates for you.
So, now you see what makes a Mother
It's the feeling in your heart.
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.
Though some on earth may not
realize you are a Mother,
Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day
And you know you're the best one!
A Mother's Crown
Heaven lit up with His mighty presence,
As all the Angels looked down,
Today the Lord was placing the jewels,
In all the mother's crowns.
As He held up a golden crown,
As all the mother's looked on,
He said in His gentle voice,
"I just want to explain each stone".
He held the first gem in His hand
But the radiance couldn't match His own.
For He was the light of Heaven,
Reflecting off each of the stones.
"The first gem," He said, "is an emerald,
And it's for endurance alone,
For all the nights you waited up.
For your children to come home.
For all the nights by their bedside,
You stayed till the fever went down,
For nursing every little wound,
I add this emerald to your crown."
"A ruby, I'll place by the emerald,
For leading your child in the right way,
For if you hadn't taught them about me,
They wouldn't be here with you today.
For always being right there,
Thru all life's important events,
I give you a sapphire stone,
For the time and love you spent."
"For untying the strings that held them,
When they grew up and left home,
I give you this one for courage."
Then the Lord added an amethyst stone.
"I'll place a stone of garnet," He said,
"For all the times you spent on your knees,
When you asked me to take care of your children,
And them for having faith in me."
"I have a pearl for every little sacrifice,
That you made without them knowing,
For all the times you went without,
To keep them happy, healthy, and growing."
"And last of all I have a diamond,
The greatest of all gems,
For those mother's who lost their children,
When they came home to heaven before them."
"This is the most precious sacrifice,
So I give the most precious stone,
For I know just how you felt,
I too lost a child of my own."
After the Lord placed the last jewel in,
He said, "Heaven is now complete,
For every mother has her crown of jewels,
And all her children are at her feet."
"Silent Grief"
A precious child you never knew,
A child with wings who flew too soon.
A beating heart, a mother's joy.
A gift from God, he's a boy!
It matters not the reason why,
It matters that you hear my cries.
All of God's Children deserve a name
All of God's children should be treated the same.
So please don't stop, or turn away;
Sometimes I need to mention his name.
To give him credit for being my child
To let you know my grief is not mild.
A precious child you never knew,
With wings was born, with wings he flew.
"Hurting will ultimately lessen.
Pain will slowly become more bearable.
Fears and guilt will gradually pass away.
But love that inner dance of the heart
Which leaps to our child's name or memory
Will not pass away."
