The Lion and the Lamb

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
And the earth was without form and void.

In the beginning He was God. He was there when time began.
With his word, he created light. He spoke and the waters ran.
The skies the seas, the grass, the trees, were created with his word.
All things came to being, when his voice was heard.
He spoke and there were planets, he created Jupiter and Mars.
He spoke and it came to pass, the sun, the moon and stars.
He spoke and the animals were. And then he came to man.
Yet, when man was created, 'twas with the Master's hand.

He's the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
He is the great Almighty, the King of Kings my friend
He is the great Redeemer, the Lamb of God on high.
He is the one and only, the Judge of you and I.
He's the Justice and the Mercy. He is the great I AM.
He is the high and holy one, the Lion and the Lamb.
In the garden, side by side, they walked, the Creator and the man.
In the garden, one on one, they talked, until the day the man ran.
The man that He created, and the woman from his side
Ate the only forbidden fruit and the fellowship with God died.
For God, he is so holy. He could not look on sin.
God killed an animal for their clothes, to restore them once again.
Yet man, he did not learn. He followed the wrong path.
The ones that God created were destined to feel his wrath.

The Judge of all mankind, the Mercy for those who'll receive.
He is the Just and Holy God, He is the Great I AM
