The Ultimate Healing “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?” I Corinthians 15: 55 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21:4 What if you have prayed, stood in faith, believed without doubting and yet your loved one, husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter or anyone else loved by you, had not been healed. Instead, they have closed their eyes in the sleep of death. What of that? What does one do when the healing is not come on this earth. I say to you, there is a healing that is temporary and shall be removed again. This healing is the healing of the physical body on this earth. I say to you, the believer who has closed their eyes in death has come to the healing that can never be removed. For they shall be raise in new bodies: bodies of perfection, without blemish or illness or lameness or wound. As Jesus said himself. They are not dead. They are only sleeping. You shall see them in their new state. This type of thing, to pray and not see the results, can be very discouraging. You find yourself boxed in on all sides. You find yourself doubting the very thing that you claim to believe. When we do not see the results we look for, we must remember a few things. First, God’s ways are higher than our ways. We must trust him even when we don’t understand. He will not let us down. He will never fail us. He is the Lord! Next, we must also realize, that not all illnesses and troubles are the result of something demonic. Some are brought on by sin that a person is unwilling or otherwise unable to let go of. I have seen the root of bitterness at work in many lives. I say to you: Do not let the root of bitterness grow in your life. Last, we must realize that the Lord does not go where he is not wanted. He stands at the door and knocks. He can take us to the very most terrible things to get our attention. Yet, it is up to that person to open the door for the Lord to enter. If he or she does not open the door, the Lord will not force his way in. We must trust the Lord to work all things out for our good, the good of those who love him. Let us keep pressing on towards that goal. Do not grow weary of doing what the Lord would have you do. Even when you want to just quit, don’t! He will give you the strength if you will let him. He will go through those trials and tribulations with you. He has already gone before you and he is not going to leave you in despair. Look up for your deliverer draws near! Father, I have felt that despair. Lord, in Jesus name, I lift each one to you who is feeling that despair as they read this. Lord, show them the might of your hand. Leave them not alone in this time of trouble. In Jesus name, remove the spirit of discouragement from his or her midst. In Jesus name, let us not grow weary of doing good, even when it goes unappreciated. Lord, in Jesus name, let us keep on pressing towards the goal. Let us not turn away. In Jesus name keep our feet running in this race. You be our strength. You be everything we need, in Jesus name, amen!
