And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians 2:15 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 28:18 Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and coheirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8:17 Jesus has disarmed the power, the authorities, the principalities through his death on the cross and his resurrection. We are joint heirs with him. This is the power we are called to walk in. we are to realize, that through Jesus, we have all authority over all things in heaven and on the earth. The powers and principalities of darkness cannot harm a child of God. We are called to walk in the authority of the risen Lord. Did you hear that saints? We can tread on satan without fear for within us is the authority of Jesus! Satan is defeated, no matter what lies he may try to tell you. He has no power other than what he petitions from the Lord. He cannot destroy you, for the power of the Lord Jesus lives within you. Do not let him fool you, for satan has not teeth!! They were pulled on Calvary. He goes about like a roaring lion looking to destroy the saints of God, but he cannot harm them. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit and have no reason to fear for the second death shall not touch us. Do not let him keep you running scared. Stand up, saints of God, for in Jesus, you are safe, saved, bought, paid for and shall never have cause to fear! Father, I thank you that in our darkest moments your word rises forth to bring us to you. Lord, in Jesus name, you draw us to the empty tomb and the power and authority in which we are called to live. Draw us to worship you and you alone. We come against all fear in our lives and command it gone now in Jesus name. We stand on the promises of your word that this war is won! I praise you that you have called me to serve on the winning team. In Jesus name, I thank you that you have made me a joint heir with Christ, not by my might but by his strength, amen!
