For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:4 For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:4-5 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:3-5 Jesus himself said that we should not be disheartened, dismayed, overcome with fear, or however one would care to word it. He says that he has overcome the world (John 16:33). The greatest power we are called to walk in is the power of the overcomer. If you desire to know more about this power, read the first three books of the Revelation. We have within us the spirit of the overcomer. The Holy Spirit was sent to us and he is the spirit of the one who has overcome the world. Brothers and sisters, we must walk the walk of the overcomer. We are chosen to be holy and blameless in his sight. We have no fear in the day of the coming judgment. We shall no longer live under the curse of sin. In fact, in Jesus, we are free from that curse today. He has (past tense) overcome the world. We, as joint heirs with Christ, have overcome the world, not by our might or our power, but by his might and his power. We, in Jesus, are the overcomers and all the blessings of the overcomers are ours in the coming age. We shall live in his presence forever and ever. We shall have no more tears, no more pain, no more feelings of not belonging, and no more ____. Fill in that blank with your hardest deepest struggle. Be not dismayed, he has overcome the world! Father, this day loose in us that spirit of the overcomer. Lord, for the sake of your name, you help us to walk that holy and blameless life that you lived. Lord in Jesus name, we command that the holds of the curses are broken and that the blessings of the overcomer are in their place. Father, in Jesus name you bless us with all the blessings of heave. In Jesus name, we stand on your word that we have a hope and a future and that we do not have to live in pain or defeat, amen! *Personal footnote: Satan is trying real hard to keep me from writing and sending the devotionals to you. I say to each of you, satan has no power in my life. In Jesus name, I shall serve my Lord and I rebuke any and all curses and lies that he has sent to me and I return them with blessings. I shall walk in the power of the Lord Most High no matter what lies the enemy shall tell. In Jesus name, I shall not be made silent. All rights reserved: Amy Seelbach
