Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool, the hard rock into springs of water. Psalm 114:7-8
Have you ever tried to get water from a rock? If you have never tried, go outside and pick up a rock, squeeze it, speak to it, command it, beg it and just see how much water can come forth from a hard rock. Once, your heart was like that rock, hard. At the touch of the Master, your heart has become as the rock that flowed forth with water. Streams of living water should flow forth from a heart that has been touched by Jesus. In the presence of Jehovah, Yeshua, Yashua, or however you choose to spell his name, we should tremble for his might has brought forth, first the rock by his voice, then the water from the rock. This same Lord is the Lord whom you serve when you have come to accept the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. What water pours forth from your heart? If there are no springs of living water that flow from your heart, examine yourself. Make sure you have made a decision to serve the Living God, Jesus Christ. I beg of you, this day, to leave nothing to chance. If there be any doubt in your mind of who is your father, make certain that you serve the only true God in Jesus Christ. Understand, that like the rock of old, you, in your natural state, without the touch of Jesus, cannot have streams of living water come forth. This day, acknowledge your sin and the need for a savior’s forgiveness. This day, choose whom you serve, Jesus or Satan. There are no other choices. Choose Jesus, choose life. Choose satan, choose death. Choose Jesus and the streams of living water will flow from the heart of you. Choose satan and choose to live in a dry and dusty land. Store up for yourself treasures in heaven. Let the touch of the Lord change you from the inside out. Let the touch of Jesus bring forth water from a heart that is not hard.
Father, in Jesus name, if there be anyone here who does not truly serve you with every fiber of their being, bring them to their knees before you. Bring to mind each sin that must be confessed, each amend that must be made, and how you are needed to change what comes forth in the life of the one who falls before you. Father, for the sake of the name of Jesus, do not let satan blind anyone to the truth of the need for a savior. For the sake of Jesus, bring to you those whom have been chosen. Cause the streams of living water to flow from the hearts that were hard. Let nothing hinder the works of your hand any longer, for time is too short, Lord. In Jesus name, let your good and perfect will bring forth the fruit that only you can bring, amen and amen.
