Oh Bride, Are You Ready?

Oh, Bride, our Lord is coming soon,
Time is, oh, so short.
He longs to make us holy,
Himself to us import.

Oh, Bride, where is your wedding dress,
The white and holy one.
Beg Him, Oh Bride, to cleanse you,
by the blood of Christ, His Son.

Oh, Bride, where are you lamps?
Are they trimmed and full of oil?
Or are they left, neglected,
Full of Satan's soil?

Oh, Bride, where is your unity?
The one for which Christ prayed
In the Garden of Gethsemane
Where he wept and stayed.

Oh, Bride, have you forgotten,
Sweat drops of blood he shed?
And the crown of thorns,
He wore upon His head?

Oh, Bride, where is your armor
And the Sword of Truth, He gave?
Are you fighting in the battle,
For Him the world to save?

Oh, Bride, is your heart breaking
For those who know Him not?
Do you seek the sheep
That with His blood He bought?

Oh, Bride, about the hidden things
You think that no one knows.
The Father sees it all.
Yet, His mercy, forever, shows.

Oh, Bride, He calls, "Return to me,
The one who loved you first.
I paid for you with my life
And gave you a new birth."

Oh, Bride, where is your heart fixed,
Upon this earth or heaven?
Is your bread the holy bread,
Or is it full of leaven?

Oh, Bride, get on you knees
And seek His holy face
And pray that he will give you
A measure full of grace.

Oh, Bride, keep looking upward
For Christ is coming soon
To take you to His banquet,
Morning, night or noon.

Oh, Bride, humble yourself
And empty yourself out
That He may fill you full
of the Holy Spirit, Shout!

Oh, Bride, shout for Jesus
Sing praises to His name
And make sure you are ready
For He is coming again.
