I thought you might like to read a some things that were sent to me, and one that I wrote a long time ago. I bet a lot of you don't know that I have over 100 different pages on the internet, including many wonderful poems, prayers, etc from past issues of Bunny's Words. There are also some worthy links to be found here besides my own. Sometime when you have time, take a look around.

These past years have been hard in more than one way,
and also a time in which I was stretched
to discover more of who I am as a child of God....
a time of letting go in an even deeper sense
so I could experience God's presence in the moment....
I can only imagine how these words can sound to you,
yet for me all that has happened has convinced me that if
we hang on to what cannot be controlled, we miss what gifts
God wants us to receive in the next moment.

Dear Bunny,

My name is Kristina Nolan and I have been receiving your e-mails for about 8 months (I think) Losing my daughter, Sara, age 17, a year and a half ago, really devastated my life. Without God and your glorious e-mails daily to lift me up, I probably would die from the pain of losing my beautiful daughter. Sure, there are days that I am mad "Why my daughter!" And the days where I feel like I can't take the silence of Sara's absence. But, I read your e-mails everyday and feel reassured that Jesus does love me and cares about me. Even on my darkest days, my lowest moments I know Jesus is saying "It's okay" Thank you Bunny- keep up the beautiful work. If possible would you post a poem I wrote for my daughter.

Dear Bunny,

I just wanted to drop a note and tell you how grateful I am to get your e-mails everyday. After losing my daughter, Sara, age 17, I have days when I want to give up and I feel so empty and defeated. Thanks to you and your glorious stories of encouragement I receive strength to start each day knowing that no matter what the day has to offer me that Jesus is my sole comforter and only He will guide and protect me from my sorrow. Thank you Bunny, keep up the inspiring e-mails, they touch and encourage more people than you probably know!!

I'm touched every single time I open Bunny's Words. It seems (and it IS) that God plans it for those who need whatever it is that day. When I am feeling low, I am lifted and it gives me strength and encouragement to pray right back to God's side. When I am having some certain need, or need just the right words to share with a friend to encourage myself or them toward God, it's right there. So I know God is really running Bunny's Words, and I thank you for being His instrument.

I also know that He gives me the words and ideas for my poetry. When I come across any of it that you may perhaps be able to use. If you can, great, and if you can't, we know God is running things! I ask now Lord a special blessing on Bunny, that you will give her the strength to keep going when she is tired or discouraged, that you will give her the material and the inspiration only You can give to make Bunny's Words a source of inspiration to so many souls. This is asked in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Good morning...I am sharing one of my favorite Psalms this morning....

Psalm of Comfort

Dear God, We pray for all those who need your healing touch...to be reminded of your presence and grace...Help us each to put our trust in You...give us calm gentle spirits to face the challenges of this day...and we thank you for getting us thru yesterday. Amen

Dear Bunny,
When I read things, it will sometimes remind me of something that
happened to me.

Today, when I read your statement (above) from your page,
I thought of the time I went to a new church back in the early '90's.

After church was over and we all stood up to leave when a lady
that was sitting behind me (whom I didn't know) tapped me on the
shoulder. When I turned around, she said, "God showed me a vision of you.
You are in a raging river laying on a log and holding on tightly. God wants you to trust and let go. You must learn to let go. You have to get off the log and release it"

Dear Bunny,

My schedule is so horrific that I must admit that I don’t read your mailings every day. I do save every one for future reference however. Each mailing is so profound. Today’s was especially so. Thank you so much for these faith affirming messages. You have lightened a very heavy heart.

I hope and pray that you are doing well. My prayers are with you.

I just lost my best friend 2 weeks ago tomorrow to breast cancer. She died 5 weeks after being diagnosed with a rare and especially aggressive form of the disease.

Marion was an extraordinary woman and had a tremendous faith. I know that she is in a better place. It is a selfish place we put ourselves in when we miss them, but that’s human nature I guess.

I am a small breasted woman and never felt it important to check myself. At the funeral, Marion’s daughter was consoling me and said how her mother loved me and said that Marion would just want that I check myself and keep myself safe.

Her illness and death happened so fast. I never had a chance to speak with her but I know she would want me to make the very sensitive plea to all women to examine their breasts. I know it is a very sensitive issue, but do you think it is an appropriate issue to include in your forum? You may have already done this, but if not, please think about it.
