Come, now children, learn a precious story ~
How the Christ child came.
We were lost sheep struggling in an endless maze.
But, the Lord looked down on us in mercy,
Chose a priceless plan.
He would give his all and buy us back, again.
Mary, willing to do his will,
Labored hard until ... he came;
Even birthing the Son of God,
In a stable, in the hay.
So, he placed his baby in a manger ~
Told the shepherds why.
Then, he hung a new star in the highest sky
To tell us he sent Jesus Christ to you and I.

Now, we tenderly say his name
Knowing ours to gain ... the prize.
And we walk with him day by day,
Keep the Son shine in our eyes.
We will love him, Jesus Christ, our Savior.
We will follow true.
Here's our heart, Lord, how can we do more for you?
You sent us your Son. You did all that you could do.
