~ Charity ~
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or
a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though
I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains,
and have not charity, I am nothing.

Charity Suffereth Long
Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious
(longsuffering and plenteous) in mercy and truth.

And is Kind
Love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing
again; for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
![]()
Charity Envieth Not
For we ourselves also were sometimes living in malice
and envy (hateful, and hating one another).
![]()
Charity Vaunteth Not Itself
.... vaunt themselves against me, saying,
Mine own hand hath saved me.
![]()
Is Not Puffed Up
Let no man beguile you of your reward, vainly puffed up by
his fleshly mind; not holding the Head, as though living in
the world, subject to ordinances (Touch not; taste not;
handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;)
after the commandments and doctrines of men.
![]()
Doth Not Behave Itself Unseemly
The Lord God said,
It is not good that the man should be alone;
I will make him an help meet for him.
Men, leaving the woman, men with men
working is unseemly.
![]()
Seeketh Not Her Own
Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and
likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not
power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also
the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

Is Not Easily Provoked
Let us consider one another to provoke
unto love and to good works.
![]()
Thinketh No Evil
Evil pursueth sinners.
Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed
innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
wasting and destruction are in their paths.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil
(pride, and arrogancy).
Evil men understand not judgment: but they
that seek the Lord understand all things.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,
saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil,
to give you an expected end.
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:
whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also.

Rejoiceth Not in Iniquity
The mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who
now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this
seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. Let every one
that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
![]()
But Rejoiceth in the Truth
Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
![]()
Beareth All Things
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit,
that we are the children of God.
All things are yours; and ye are Christ's;
and Christ is God's.
![]()
Believeth All Things
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me,
the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works
than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
![]()
Hopeth All Things
So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being
enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling,
and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward
who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
![]()
Endureth All Things
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;
whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge,
it shall vanish away. And now abideth faith, hope, charity,
these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
1 Corinthians 12:27-13:13

"Bible Study - How To"
Study to shew thyself approved unto
God, a workman that needeth not to be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15
~ * ~
God inspired the Bible to be all sufficient
without Websters or other translations,
as He is His own best commentator. Thus,
whether used as a teaching tool or to shed
light on a verse God has layed upon your
heart, for deeper insight, look for how
words are used elsewhere in scripture.
~ * ~
For my thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your
ways my ways, saith the Lord.
Isaiah 55:8
