~ How I Love Thee ~
A Psalm of Love
I love thee Lord, with all my heart and soul.
Your love showers me like the morning rains,
Drenching my flowers in their youthful bloom.
O Lord, how I love thee.
I am intoxicated by your grace and forgiveness.
Your love strengthens me all the day long.
It follows me wherever I go.
I feel it within the very depths of my soul.
I can feel it in the presence of the four winds.
You are the lamp that lights my way.
You are my shelter from life's raging storms.
How I love thee, Lord; with all my heart and soul.
I am lifted up by your loving arms
And carried into the depths of infinity.
Your love lifts me beyond all time and space.
O Lord, how I love thee.
Your love is like marrow for my bones
And manna, from heaven, for my hungry spirit.
I love Thee, Lord, with all my heart and soul.
O Lord, how I love thee.
