Why do some act like they are better than me, when God created us all?

Their land is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made. Isaiah 2:8
Some use their knowledge to try and lord over me. Is that right?

There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. Proverbs 30:12
When I try to share something new I've learned in the Bible, why do some attack?

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. Jude 1:19
How should I answer them?

Take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. Matthew 10:19-20
But, when I try to explain, they say, "Well, that's YOUR opinion."

He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul. Proverbs 15:32
Shouldn't I also consider what they are saying?

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. Proverbs 12:15
Well, what am I to think when such counsel is contrary to what you have revealed to me?

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3
Ok, so now, I'm confused.

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 1 John 3:21
But, if my heart does not condemn me, why do others think it is their job to?

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts. Proverbs 21:2
Then, why don't they follow the Lord's example instead of lecturing me with scripture?

They are prophets of the deceit of their own heart. Jeremiah 23:26b
Oh, ok. So, what about when I do fall?

They which are spiritual, are to restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering themselves, lest they also be tempted. Galatians 6:1
Then, what's the deal with these disapproving looks?

They measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 2 Corinthians 10:12b
So, how, then, does one get wisdom?

If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
Then, why don't they just do that?

They being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Romans 10:3
What should I do, in such a case?

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. 1 Peter 5:6
Well, ok. But, I am sure that some talk about me, behind my back. What's up with that?

All that hate thee whisper together against thee: against thee do they devise thy hurt. Psalm 41:7
Should I be concerned?

With what judgment they judge, they shall be judged. Matthew 7:2a
I didn't want judgment, only for them to do what is right.

Give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 12:19b
Why can't we all just 'get a long'?

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:8

Before you speak listen, think, forgive, try.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 1 John 3:10

Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God,
and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice
of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

Ecclesiastics 5:1

What ye hear in the ear, that
preach ye upon the housetops.

Matthew 10:27b

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. Luke 6:27-31

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18:24

~ Warriors ~

We sang Your song and carried high
Your vibrant anthems, to the sky.
We dodged the arrows, darts, and spears.
We followed on, for many years.

Each day was glorious, with You so near.
Your voice spoke softly in our ears.
When one would fall, his spot was filled
With another heart You also thrilled.

We’re growing old, a feeble few ~
Surprised we still can march for You.
Our comrades fill the ranks with more,
All imaging that distant shore.

Their fiery darts cannot break through
Nor distract any thing You do.
And maybe we can join the throng
That cheers our fellow warriors on.
