Angels of God

The Lord hath prepared his throne in the
heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel
in strength, that do his commandments,
hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Psalm 103:19-20
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

We Just Call Them 'Friend'
Sometimes, God sends angels
To give His work a hand;
To bring a smile, to dry a tear,
Or do the things He planned.
They carry out His duties.
They're with you to the end.
On earth, they have a different name.
We just call them 'friend'.
Do you ever wonder why
We think our friends are blessed?
Could be because they're angels
That withstood friendship's test.
They withstood all the anger;
Had broken hearts to mend.
On earth, they have a different name.
We just call them 'friend'.
