~ Securely Loved ~

He

Seq. by Eleanor Adams

If you have a biological child, that child is your literal blood lineage. They may become your pride and joy, or even your worst nightmare. But, they are still your child.

You can given them up for adoption, disinherit them, otherwise disown them, and never see or speak to them again. But, nothing can erase that blood lineage; not even a transfusion. Your child could be of a saintly sort, a mass murderer, or anywhere in-between. But, no matter what might separate you from them (no matter the type of hell they choose to live in, no matter how they disgrace you) that blood lineage can not be erased.

You can choose 'not to be' a party to their waywardness. You can let them make their own choices, and either suffer or be blessed as a result. You can chastise them. You can cry and scream in your wrath. You can thunder down on them and even let them die in their sins. But, you cannot erase that blood lineage.

God created man ... and all of you are children of the most High. Psalm 82:6 Do we really believe God could stop loving us, that He created man more righteous than He?

Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction. Habakkuk 1:12

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Psalm 96:10 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3

~ Whisper of God ~

Through all my faults and failures,
Your grace is greater than my sin.
Through all of my transgressions,
Your love shines deep within.

This day, I stand before you,
My head hangs low with shame
And, from a place deep within my spirit,
I cry out your most holy name.

Lord Jesus, I have faltered
In my walk with you.
Open my eyes, sweet Father.
Please, show me what to do.

Slowly, as I raised my head
And gazed into his eyes,
One single shimmering tear
My precious Savior cried.

His gentle voice then spoke to me,
Filling the place where shame had been,
Saying, "You are my earthly child
And my grace is greater than your sin;
And through all your faults and failures,
You never doubted I live within.

This day, you stood before me,
Your head hung low in shame,
And, from the place deep within your spirit,
You called out my holy name.

I will lift you when you falter,
Throughout your walk with me;
Opening your eyes to my unending grace
Because your faith has set you free.

Yes, through all your faults and failures,
My grace is greater than your sin.
I shall never abandon you, my child,
Because my love shines from deep within."

God's love for you is secure!

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith;
prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves,
how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

All of you are children of the most High.

2 Corinthians 13:5, Psalm 82:6
