~ Then Cometh the End ~

When God places a calling upon your life, that is the accepted time to begin serving in the area of your calling; whether others agree or not. And once God has fully trained you, if you are still not free to serve Him, it is an evil disease.

When such is the case, it is common for others to justify their rejection by pointing fingers. And, not only does it tick God off but, God does not judge deeds; only motives. Therefore, until Jesus reveals your sin to you and you've rejected it, you are not yet in sin. John 15:22 (par.) And when others misjudge your heart, you 'know' prophets prophesy falsely, priests bear rule by their means, and the church body loves it that way - as that is three against one.
Jesus said, "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
So, once having seen such error, in which we accept our calling and choose to minister and come to their defense, we join the ranks of his body wherein their body is our body, their flesh is our flesh, all are equal, and we become one spirit. Then, we not only see the suffering of God's wounded, but begin to hear their cries and feel their pain. And once coming to the defense of the fatherless, the poor in spirit, etcetera ... we, also, begin to experience like sufferings for ourselves.

And, as we well know, life has been so hard; for way too long: rejection, abandonment, loss of loved ones, poor health, creditors, burden after burden ... the list could be endless and, sometimes, is. And it did not last just for days, weeks, or months, but years.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. And yet, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. And when all else fails, we look to serve where welcomed (to help to make a difference, places where the builder and maker is God) and spend the remainder of our 'time on earth' (whether it be wilderness, prison, or tombs) serving God in our ministry to them.

Some say, "There is no way I can believe this was the tribulation." Maybe they did not have the heart for it.

But whatever the case, eventually, anger stirs as it feels like God brought us out here to die. And when that line of thinking is exhausted, we might tell God, or at least think, "If you are not going to answer, just kill me and get it over with, as, if this is life, it is no longer worth living. Just take me home."

A just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. And, we did; multiple times seven. But when hard knocks come seventy times seven, it is easy to even despair of life. And by the time it is nearly over, there is no one's faith left we can trust, as (if it be possible) every doctrine 'known to man' has been tested and proven false. Neither are there any, with a heart for it, in position to help and every ounce of courage, left within, has been stripped away.

And by this time, we know we are completely malnourished, depleted, and even fearful; with no ability to help anyone else and only the slightest hope left that God will, finally, answer our faintest plea ... as there is no more.

Humans were created with the natural 'instinct of survival' to choose life. However, that very instinct, which keeps us physically alive, has just the opposite effect on our spiritual life. And so, perhaps, our spiritual life requires an end to everyone's law before there can be a resurrection.

And when there is no more to reason, we finally come to the realization that it is God's job to prove He is who He says He is. It is His integrity at stake, to keep His promises. It is all up to Him and that is 'all there is' as we barely have the physical strength to move our bodies, even less the spiritual strength to make the climb towards Him.

And so, in inevitable exhaustion, we say, "God, please, do not lose me. I can, no longer, hang on. If you do not save me, I am done." And that is when our dying to the 'flesh' is finally over; when the world within us has come to its end.

All works of the flesh are dead and gone, along with said tribulation, as (at that very moment) we have accomplished what otherwise seemed impossible being our focus was in helping others. We have put down all rule, all power, and all authority (within us) ... and given our kingdom back to God.

Only, there seems to be no heart left, as we certainly can not feel it. And we vaguely recall that God knows the truth of what was in our heart when we were in our right mind and, therefore, rest assured in our salvation (despite all doctrine) knowing He is a faithful Creator and will judge accordingly.

And with that settled, next comes the conclusion 'we are dead anyway'. So, what does it matter if others jab a few more spears into us? It is not like we can bleed any more, or that they can kill someone who is already dead.

And so, we dare to accomplish the only thing left in our hands which had not been done toward the purpose of our creation. God helps in the accomplishing, and the doing also feeds us. Thus, the spiritual climb begins again; only slowly, as there is much to restore. However, this time, we serve in spite of expectation, as God places within our heart; without fear or reservation.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; to deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Then, cometh the end ... receiving the end of our faith, even the salvation of souls.
If people sin wilfully after they have received the knowledge of the truth, someone pays. And death reigns from Adam tilling the ground to Noah trying to save people from floods of adversity, to Moses guiding children through their wilderness; even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression. As whether one member (of his body) suffer, all the members (of his body) suffer with it; or one member (of his body) be honoured, all the members (of his body) rejoice with it. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he will also glorify. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

The glory of God is in his children. He that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. To whom God will make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

There is therefore, now to be,
- NO MORE CONDEMNATION -
to them which are in Christ Jesus, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
And Jesus said to them all, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." For there is only one God, and only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, "What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?"

And I said unto him, "Sir, thou knowest."

And he said to me, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them."
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches:

"These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

~ Lord, Why Must I Suffer? ~

floral divider

I prayed, to the Lord, for my troubles to cease.
But instead of departing, they seemed to increase.

Each day found 'new problems' I'd not faced before
And, so, my depression just grew; more and more.

I begged and I pleaded, "Lord, please let me die!
If You can't ease my pain, at least tell me why."

The Lord said, "My dear child, I love you so much
And I could have erased all those tears with one touch.

But, I wanted to teach you to cling to My hand
And trust Me for things you cannot understand.

I wanted to show you that, when things go wrong,
My strength, in your weakness, will make you grow strong.

You've suffered because you were chosen to be
A light for the lost and a witness for Me.

As you travel the pathway I've laid out for you,
You will meet many hearts that are suffering, too.

And because you have been there, and know what they feel,
You can show them My love and can help them to heal."

'Twas then that I wept, as I fell on my knees,
And I gave thanks to God for not granting my pleas.

For had I not suffered and felt such despair,
How could I have known the extent of His care?

Oh, Lord, make me worthy to share Your great love
And help hurting souls reach Your heaven above.

I Understand Your Broken Heart

floral divider

I wanted to believe I knew
Of the tears that others cried;
To lovingly lead them through their pain, each day,
By always walking by their side.

I thought I understood their suffering
Of their loneliness and fears,
No longer having the ones they loved
Because they are no longer here.

I told them not to worry,
Just to live 'one day at a time',
To keep their faith in the Lord, above;
An inner peace, soon, they would find.

But then, the Lord brought me to a day
Of such intense sorrow, loss, and pain;
Although my faith in Him stayed strong,
My spirit began to wane.

I worried about my tomorrows,
Without my loved one by my side.
I could not find the beauty of today
Through all these tears I cried.

It was then that I began to realize ...
How could I ever know
The pain of another's heart breaking
If, there, I did not go?

I weep not for those gone before me.
I weep only for the loneliness in my heart.
I weep not that they are home, now in heaven.
I weep; only, I still must do my part.

But, I know I shall do things differently.
I will see past the pain in their eyes.
I will reach out my hand and say to them,
"My friend, cleanse your soul and cry."

You must feel this pain to know what's in the heart of another.
You must cry the tears that fill a broken heart that's alone.
You must walk a dark path before you reach the light;
In the darkest of days, find a blue sky and rainbows.

For if you never feel these things,
You can never really know
The lesson of the Lord's pure love
And how He loves us so.

He left us here to lead others
Through their times of deep despair.
Through the memories of those we love,
We find our Lord is there.

Now, I believe that I, now, know
Of the tears that others cry
And I will, lovingly, lead them through their pain
By always walking by their side.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,
raise the dead, cast out devils:
freely ye have received, freely give.

Matthew 10:8

And they shall build the old wastes,
they shall raise up the former desolations,
and they shall repair the waste cities,
the desolations of many generations.
