The husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

If a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?

The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light; for they marry, and are given in marriage. Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery.

These be as women that break wedlock and shed blood: murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

He must increase, but I must decrease; for of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.

As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church; give yourself for their sins, that you might deliver them from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.

To him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.

I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not.

I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all. But I would rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

And when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. And without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Let no man glory in men; for I speak concerning Christ and the church. All things are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord; for ye serve the Lord Christ. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; as he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

It's not what you know. It's WHO you know.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock:
and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not
hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

Isaiah 65:25
