I thank you for grace to diligently seek more knowledge and understanding of your Word. I ask you for wisdom in my daily walk. My life is founded upon your Word and principles. Your Word is a weapon against the temptation to lose heart or grow weary.
I thank you, Father for sending your Word to heal and deliver me from all evil. I will not let my heart be troubled as I live in your Word, and your Word lives in me . I walk in your peace which passes all understanding. I hide your Word in my heart that I may not sin against you. Your Word is spirit and life. I thank you Father for sanctifying me through the Word, because your Word is truth. I thank you Father, for allowing me to visit Calvary. To kneel humbly broken before the fountain of blood that flowed from your Holy Son. This fountain of life that washed me from all my sins, and bathed me in unconditional Love from you. I thank you Father for close friends who help me build a stronger character and draw me closer to you. Teach me to be a good friend. I will be happy for those who are happy and will weep with those who weep. Help me to be myself as you created me. Teach my heart and mold my character that I may be faithful and trustworthy in friendships that you send into my life. Father Your Son is my best Friend, he is a friend who stays closer than a brother or sister He set the standard. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" John 15:13 Thank You Lord that I can trust myself and my need for friends into your hands. I submit to your will of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. I thank you Father for the wonderful gifts you give each of us. Some are blessed in the ability to paint or write, others to make things or be creative in many areas. All gifts we possess come from you. Help us to use those abilities for your good.
I thank you Father for the Gospel that is published in our land, for it is banned in many. The Word of God lasts and grows in the hearts and lives of the majority of American People. We give thanks for this greatest of Lands and the leaders, that even if they fail in their own walk, they have the best intentions for this great country. The heart of this country is in your hands. For your Words says "blessed is the nation, whose God is the Lord". May America always remember that in the hearts of its people. We will trust in the strength of men, but in the Rock which is our fortress.
Gregory the Great once wrote: “If we look attentively enough at outward material things we are recalled by them to the inward, spiritual things. For the wonders of the visible creation are the footprints of our Creator; himself, as yet we cannot see, but we are on the road that leads to vision when we admire him in the things that he has made. And so we call creative things his footprints, since they are made by him and guide to himself.” Thank you Lord, for these footprints that we may see the glory in your handiwork.
