You almost have to know my grandmother to understand this one.
She was a teacher in her early days, but later she felt so much more had happened, so she got a set of encyclopedias and -- started reading them. She did set her goal, to learn all she could.
(By the way, she did finish them.)

EDUCATION

Education! Gee what a word

And it's so full of meaning

And if acquired in the right way

Results are always gleaming.

It seems so hard for most of us

To get deep down to study

But the tiny thoughts we grasp each day

Make faces glow more ruddy.

We know we cannot reach the top

No matter how we try

But let us set a certain goal

And make it plenty high

Then let us strive to reach that goal

Let it be what it may

With sleepless eyes and ears that hear

There is no better way
