This morning I saw God's handiwork
Displayed out over my lawn
The frost was sparkling everywhere
Just at the break of dawn.
The air was crisp and chilly,
Just right for the first of fall.
It showed me it was God's power
And not man's power at all.
It is so good for all to know
God has the ruling power.
It is not left to mortal man
To banish any hour.
The snow would soon be falling,
White flakes we soon would see.
Another power that God would show
So welcome by you and me.
Let us welcome Him into our hearts
And let Him guide and reign.
Let us cherish His beauties
Until He comes again.
