He Will Guide Us Day and Night

When the cool winds of evening
And the chilly tides comes in
And life grows shorter and shorter
May Jesus be your friend.

May He always guide and guard you
While here on earth you stay
And find a clear clean record
On the final judgment day

We know He is our Savior
He's the judge and jury too
Let's live a life He's pleased with
Since He's made us anew.

We realize His mercies
For He spared our lives we know
Giving us a chance to repent
And guided us here below.

As time rolls by and we grow old
The light seems all more bright
Let's thank dear God our Savior
Who guides us day and night.
