They gave All

Your life so short,
Your years now gone,
You stood so brave,
You were so strong.
For no one knew,
Upon that night,

Too soon a bomb,
Would take your life.
As you were training,
For the fight,
To help end terroism
In our lives.

A bomb was released,
Over the wrong site,
Too late, too late,
Can't take it back.
Fell on the earth,
With it's loud sound and blast,

When the hit was finally over,
We realized what we had done,
Killed our own soldiers,
Yes, we are Canadians,
This is true, so proud,
To be able to help you.

Our friends in the U.S.A.
We stood beside you night and day,
No bitterness do we feel,
We know mistakes are all too real.
For these four families must grieve,
The loss of husband, son and brother,
Now lost, may God grant peace,
To them that will never see their loved ones again.

This is a dedication to the four young Canadian soldiers
All in their twenties who gave their lives for all.

So dear family, please stay strong, know God holds them
in his arms, and they no more will come to harm. My
deepest sympathies go out to each and every one of the
families, I also cry along with you.
