From the Goodness
From the goodness of my heart,
I wished to play a part,
To help out a new friend,
A get well card to send.
She wasn’t feeling well,
From her email I could tell,
So a request I sent for prayer,
On Internet, to show I care.
My friends are very kind,
Together we could find,
Support all over the earth,
To show my friend her worth.
What I did get come back,
Told me it is the right track,
Much thanks came back to me,
My effort success did see.
Then came an email scorn,
Pain in my heart was torn,
Told I had done her wrong,
To send this out so long.
I hoped I did express,
This friend I want to bless,
I thought we’d do together,
Next time, I will know better.
