Through My Eyes

Hi there how are you, what do you see,
I’m looking for you, are you looking for me,
I see acceptance in your bright eyes,
My road has been long, but has made me wise,
I see the Mother that I wish could be you,
For I’ve known no other would care like you do,
For you have consoled me when life held me down,
Put your arms around me, your love I had found,
Many years come and go, your still here with me,
We’ll always be together throughout eternity,
So now let me hold you, as you would hold me,
And be there for you, in your time of need.
