| Legacy I went out to the forest one day to see, The wonders of nature God gave to me, From the moose on the hill, to the frog in the pond, Oh how terrible if it were all gone, The forest would be quiet, not a sound to be heard, Not even the singing of a small tiny bird, No babbling brooks and no bumble bees, Not even the flutter of leaves on the trees, Can you imagine a world such as this? We must thank God for these wonderful gifts, For there is such beauty our eyes to behold, It is our treasure, treat it as gold, For if we wake one morning to wonder, And find that man has put it all under, No longer to find the most beautiful forest, How can man destroy such a wonderful chorus?
