My name is TB, and I love the Lord
Jesus Christ and want to share Him with all
who will hear. I currently make my home
on Hatteras Island, part of the beautiful
chain of islands known as the
Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Have you
ever wondered why the Lord allows
us to go through some
very difficult
situations?
??????
Through this lifetime of forty-plus years,
I
have experienced the death of a husband,
miscarriage,
barrenness, abuse, rejection
and loneliness - sometimes as a result
of my own choices and sometimes
through the hurtful choices others have made.
BUT...
I have also experienced
joy, peace,
patience, kindness,
and such unimaginable love
at the hand of Jesus Christ.
Through it all, the Lord has
proven His
promises true
- "I will never leave nor forsake you."
-- Hebrews 13:5
- "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek
Me with all your heart." -- Jeremiah 29:13
- "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills
be removed, yet My unfailing love for you
will not be shaken" -- Isaiah 54:10
- "...I (Jesus) am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes * in Me will live, even though
he dies; and whoever lives and believes in
Me will never die..." -- John 11:25-26
* a
conviction so strong that it
causes a change in our lives,
where we go from 'doing our own thing'
to desiring God's plans for us.
