"Judy's Remembering Page"

This is my page dedicated to my parents (adopted), but the only parents that I remember. They adopted me when I was 4 years old. Read  the 3 sisters story to get all of the details, so I won't go into that here. I was a sickly child, before I was taken to the orphanage in 1941 I had been very sick with Diphtheria and came very close to dying with it, but thank the Lord I didn't. I have really enjoyed the life that the Lord has let me lead. My father, Sidney H. Wilson was a very gentle man, very soft spoken when he was young, he later changed due to illness. He never even spanked my sister Peggy or me but would take us both on his knee and he would talked to us about how we should be, so we would grow up and have a good name. By the time he would get through, we were all three crying. I once said, I would rather have one of Mother's spankings as being talked to by Daddy.   They were not rich people, but they gave us everything that they could possible get.  The most important thing is that they gave us love. Mother was not able to give Peggy , my sister the love that she needed.  She made a great difference in her love for me and what she gave to Peggy. That's what parents do today more than ever before. They give their children material things but never give them the love and time that is so important. They did become closer later in the years, but my sister suffered because of the lack of love.
