~ When I Was Alone ~
I walked the still waters I crossed dry land
Many times oh Lord, you had to hold my hand
Turbulent seas silent was the breeze
I know the Master I am at ease
I swam the oceans; I looked to the skies
Often, with tears the Lord wiped my eyes
Many canyons I stared upon
My eyes toward heaven, the Lord carried me on
I stumbled and fell I wreaked with pain
I am always at peace; I know the Master's name
He led me through the valleys, deep and wide
The Lord was always by my side
When I was depressed, the Lord cheered me up
When I was thirsty, I drank from the Lords cup
When I was alone, the Master showed me the way
The Lord was always there, He said it was okay
When in doubt and no sounds I heard
The Lord sent the Dove, a most beautiful bird
The seas did roar, the Master put me at ease
Loving me He sent the morning breeze
Lightening and thunder, the rains did fall
The Lord was there; He stood tall
Alone and worried, the Lord showed me the way
The Master told me I would visit Him someday
When doubt set in, the Lord was there
The Lord answered my every prayer
Something's I will never understand
I held to the Masters hand
My friend if you are lost, and can't find the way
Look for the Lord, you see He knows the way.
