I found Peace

I was trapped in sin for a season
For this shame I had no reason
My old life was full of fun
My real life had not begun

As time slipped swiftly by
Within my heart I began to cry
To change my life I must try
It became real that I would die

I thought the bottle would make me forget
But once started it was so hard to quit
My Uncle Sam He called one day
For me to go to a land far away

I was scared What could I do
