IN HIS SHOES

Freedom
The freedom to worship our Savior
Is all in the life style we choose.
He paid the great cost for souls that were lost,
So we don't have to walk in His shoes.
Hang on to the gift that was given,
Precious gift that we don't want to lose.
The suffering was done by God's only Son,
So we didn't have to walk in His shoes.
He died on the Cross for all sinners,
His word is our guideline to use.
The price He has paid for mistakes we have made,
So we don't have to walk in His shoes.
He went to His rest tired and bleeding,
And knowing that He'd paid all our dues.
He took every break that one heart could take,
So we don't have to walk in His shoes.
If your searching for Jesus just reach out your hand,
He's waiting to tell you that you're part of His plan.
Don't think of tomorrow and what it might bring,
Just kneel down in prayer and reach out to the King.
When troubles surround us and we stumble and fall,
Unlike Humpty Dumpty we know who to call.
We don't call the king's horses nor all of his men,
When we need assurance we just call on Him.
Just walk with Him daily, and let Him be your only guide,
For it was for you and me, that He suffered greatly and died.
To show that we love Him, His praises we sing,
In all circumstances reach out to the King.
