I see the majestic mountains and the valley green

I walk in awesome wonder at the sights I have seen

All from our Lord on high; our inspiration

God gives us all good things to enjoy; a great sensation.

In awesome wonder I look at the world He hath made

And think on the punishment and grief He has paid

It was from His choosing; in love He would do it again

For our sins to pay; He took the cross-, in hand.

I see the spring flowers blooming; butterflies flying

I think of who made them and see my Savior dying.

I see the awesome wonder of the forest; with animals galore

Looking all around the world; there is so much more.

In awesome wonder I see the clouds and rain softly fall

I see spring moss; I hear the roaring thunder and recall

Being afraid as a child; even later still

Then I remembered the awesome cross-, upon a hill.

In awesome wonder Jesus came to the rescue for all

He walked and talked of stories; to many to recall.

He made the road to glory light and easy today

If we look around a bit; we’ll easily find the way.
