Jason's headstone is actually a small boulder taken from Nancy and John's garden.
Nancy would sit on one of these with Jason in her lap every morning waiting for the
school bus to take him to the training center. She and John thought one of these
boulders would make a more appropriate headstone because Jason loved to site out in
the garden and listen to the morning doves. Nancy said he would laugh whenever he
would hear them coo. A plaque was attached with his name, birth and death date.
My mom, dad and I took these blue folowers there a few weeks ago for Christmas.
I plan to return in the Spring to plant fresh flowers that will bloom all summer long.
