Who is your God is the question, I ask?
Is it something you did, alone in the past?
Or is it your love of material things that won't last?
Anything you put ahead of God is a sin,
So, think about the answer and be truthful, my friend.
People love money and things that they buy,
never thinking that they, too,
will vanish in the sweet by and by.
You can not take it with you,
No matter how hard you might try.
What about vanity, is that a sin?
Looking in the mirror, instead of gazing on Him!
Spending large amounts of money
for looks that won't last,
when what's inside is what matters to Him.
Is your God found in a bottle or cigarette case?
How can you keep that smile on your face?
Don't you know that your body is the temple of God?
Reaching for that second helping to put on your plate
Gee,...... I wonder if you even take time to say grace?
Television is something that you can't do without,
even though what you see gives you shudders, no doubt.
Why do you grin and spread gossip around
when deep in your heart, you know it should not abound
Now, answer my question, who is your God?
You can not fool Him, no matter what you do
So, make no mistake, when you stand before Him
He will know what was important to you, my friend.
Open your heart and let Jesus in
Awards await you,....... when He is your God.
