Comments On Psalm 90 PS 90:1 “Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.” Moses was well experienced in wandering: “Moses named him Gershom, saying, ‘I have become an alien in a foreign land.’ ” But he was always at home in God: PS 91:1 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” PS 90:8 “You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.” To approach God can be dreadful initially, as he deals with our sins: EX 24:17-18 “To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain.
