She Was Love Personified

>A radiant and kind person was she. She had a vivacious manner, but was dignified. Was as sympathetic and compassionate could be. She was love personified.

She was a friend to the friendless; To those who were hungry, she helped feed. A comforter to people sick or in distress; A faithful helper to those in need.

Only God she wanted to glorify. She thanked God for His gift of Salvation-- And knew that complete faith in Christ Jesus qualified-- Resulting in perfect bodies at the believer's resurrection. She was sorry for those who did not believe, And testified what God's Word in the Bible Says on how eternal life is received.

Her ever present smile reflected her genuine love, And was therapeutic to the discouraged. She never said an unkind word, And like a magnet--people were drawn to her presence.

One day her generous heart stopped beating. All who knew her did much weeping. God promoted her to Heaven, And is serving Him there for eternity. Her example has inspired many to help others with loving devotion.

i wonder?

I wonder if you know? what i'm feeling now the hardening of the blow the breaking of a vow

The tears that drop like rain upon my bedded sheet a thundering of the pain that bows my soul to weep

I wonder if you know through all these many years how much i loved you so through all these dredded tears

My heart just aches with pain to have to let you go to think our loves in vain I wonder if you know?

Now my years have ended and looking back in time to a love defended i know which once was mine

...I wonder if you know?

Count Your Blessings

The summer rains down its wormth upon the earth The flowers reach towards the sun in all their splender. What a wonderful time to be alive!

In the distance, a church bell rings through the air with it's sweet melody as a remberance to each and every one of us in hearing distance That Jesus is still alive and loves us very much

Families kneel to pray to start this warm summer day off with it's blessings.

A little boy is running down the sidewalk trying desperately to get his kite into the air with its long knotted tail made of his mothers old sheets, swirling in the wind as he lets the string out and the kite floats upward. A smile On the little boys face grins ear to ear for his accomplishment as he stares up into the crystal blue sky as the yellow kite drifts almost out of site

Some one is baking a pie as the aroma fills the air it's apple! my favorite! i think to myself.

All my work is done in the house and it is time for church. I kneel by my bed and thank the Lord for such a beautiful day!

What A wonderful time to be alive!

Poems For The Heart

Old Oak Tree

All around the old oak tree we sing our merry tune

We sing and dance like in a trance oh about till noon

we sing of joy for every boy whose heart is filled with love

for that special girl

in this world God's blessings from above

We spread our wings and start to sing around that old oak tree

God's blessings flow oh don't you know all over you and me

our hearts in twine with sweet divine our wings begin to flutter

We float around the old oak tree just loving one another.

Do You Wonder?

Do you wonder why your here? What this world is all about?

Those things you hold so dear Thoes things you go without

The feeling thats inside You have no answer for

The many nights you cried Never calling on the Lord

He bends an ear to you He listens for your plea

You ponder what to do While Jesus holds the key

If you wonder why your here Look upon the Lord

For the answer's very clear He was nailed upon a board

At Last At last,

when all the summer shine

That warmed life's early hours is past,

Your loving fingers seek for mine

And hold them close—at last—at last!

Not oft the robin comes to build Its nest upon the leafless bough

By autumn robbed, by winter chilled,— But you, dear heart, you love me now.

Though there are shadows on my brow And furrows on my cheek,

in truth,— The marks where Time's remorseless plough

Broke up the blooming sward of Youth,— Though fled is every girlish grace

Might win or hold a lover's vow,

Despite my sad and faded face,

And darkened heart, you love me now!

I count no more my wasted tears;

They left no echo of their fall;

I mourn no more my lonesome years; This blessed hour atones for all.

I fear not all that Time or Fate May bring to burden heart or brow.

No One Decides These Things

Once, when she was four years old, she took the hand of her father and stepped over the puddles left in the potholes from the rainstorm. One puddle was underneath an exhaust pipe. It shone with oily colors: swirls of red, yellow, green. "Daddy, I see a dead rainbow." Her father clutched his heart because it was such a beautiful thing for her to say. The years have gone fast. Here she is now, thirty-one years old, trying to breathe new life into a dead bird, mouth to beak, with her own small son watching very carefully.

Will I? Can I? ever see

the sounding waves of the sea,

The wood that floats up to the shore,

the rocks the sand, the seaweed core

The seaguls flying in the air,

the fresh smell of the fish so rare,

right now I wish that I was there

but how can I be for I've done wrong

I'm in a cell but not for long

for there is one way out and thats through dreams

and the dream i'll dream will be of the sea.

For I was never in a cell

it was just an illusion of myself,

now my dreams are carring me through,

I will start my life anew

Mother Nature

Rainbows melt to color gray, Then mold together a beautiful day.

Crystal drops from falling dew, haze the skies of of misty blue.

A golden sun shines down it's rays, warming up the summer days.

The smell of roses fill the air, their pedals fall with tender care.

A crying baby in the distance heard, a chirping sound of a single bird.

Mother nature cries in pain, To let the world be born again

Call Upon The Lord

The Lord hears my cry, when i call upon his name

with all my sinful ways, he loves me just the same.

He listens to my heart, and heals me with his love

and when i'm out of line,he gives a gentle shove.

He sets me back in place, in the center of his will

he forgives me of my sin, and continues to love me still
