Christ Fulfilled the Law
Did Christ come to abolish the law or to fulfil it?
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." Matthew 5:17.
What does fulfil mean when the term is used in reference to the law?
"Bear ye one another's burden and so fulfil the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2.
"And Jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him." Matthew 3:15.
