To Poetry By Timothy E New

But the path of the just is as the shining light that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. {Proverbs 4:18}

Bound
Obscure days seem endless Many times a feeling of inanimate Or its essence yet the desire To live out weighs that hopeless thought Disgruntled now as if I was Emasculated by some evil plot.
Stifle, not I stand the nightingale Sings not life everts fray to endure This sea of madness filled with Barracuda like creatures who desire My very bones.
I beseech God in the heavens Free me of this fold that ravege My soul I cry Father in heaven Hear this sinner emancipate me. Clouds shift, wind howls, claws Lift off my body the first time I can feel empathy.

God Mold Me
If God guided my mouth, I'd be a songbird.
If God touched my eyes, I could see like an eagle.
If God touched my body, I'd be forever strong.
If God touched my mind, I'd be much wiser.
If God touched my hand, I'd be a writer.
So, God You made me of clay, to mold me in Your way.

From Hell To Heaven
Though in my life of sorrow, so few gains I praise thee, oh Lord, for making me the rugged and strong. Though poor, I am rich with God. For only through His blessing, my days shall go on. If I was without Him, my life would be meek. I sing my praises for God to hear. He has blessed me with my children. As I teach them, my life will go by. For God knows if I did not have them, I would be lost. Along with my teaching, I've refound God. I know now, my life here on earth, is like a wind, in time all breaks up, will be dust again. My soul is with Jesus. My life is eternal. I am immortal, no more pain or sorrow. He wiped all my troubles away. I'm in my new mansion. Heaven is its name.

Gift Of Life
If she and he, wed as virgins, blessed by God, only through love, they conceive. Nine months she must endure, now with child, her body emerging, only her husband comforting her. They pray to God. Blessed are they when her hour comes. A beautiful child, blessed is He. When she holds this child, her suffering is forgotten. Oh, happy is she, for only God, who created man, can bless this way. So, we shall be thankful to our dear mom. Also thankful to God, for giving her to us.

Follow The Sea
Life is tricky as a storm, in an eye of a hurricane, fooled by all, calm, smooth is she, not knowing of the tail, front to back, turmoil for all. Life, like the sea changes each day. A course planned to follow, but some storm may change this flow of life we know. To take an action in the right time, is a trick of life. Follow the plans of your heart, a man has to flow with the sea.

Everting My Life
Oh Lord, help me, I'm trying to evert my life. I evoke myself, this godsand gives such sorrow. I fray with myself each day. Times fill as of inanimate, fill de' clas se' murky obscure way, upon my shoulders, weighs down. My chest filled with such burden. Contend to exist as myself, Jesus sups in my heart. Children, wife, love I, so tis' why I fight to have my once loved joy for life.

I Slowly Die, To Be Reborn
Life passes by, day after day. Hair graying, teeth decaying, wrinkled skin, the aging body, weak, fragile, yet wisdom comes with age. Life in time, transposing, the old die, babies become men, life's great circle in time. God's return, bestows earthly life, to heavenly nativities, nourishing spiritual life, anew, in Christ Jesus.

Freedom To Write
Creating an image for all to see, a painted picture with words, so carefully written, a energy to share, showing an impression forever to bloom on the pages, colorful force, a little mystery, tragedy or love, the splendid heart of poetry.

Life's Burdens
On my back is a ton of bricks. My chest is filled with a burden. Low to the ground is my mind. Finances at an ultimate low. Oh, but look twor'd the sky. Even in my sorrow, I wouldn't trade this little life of mine. The children sitting around reading His word, listening to understand. Jesus has a plan for my life and yours. Just listen to what He says. My troubles to me are like mountains, but to Him they're but a snap away. In time I'll know how and what to do. Until them my guardian, my mighty angel will help to keep me from my sorrow. No man or beast can take my God from me. I'm trying and I pray God help me each day.

Money Isn't Everything
Though poor, happy am I. So many things others have, I simply don't need. God freely gives me eternal Love, this money cannot buy. Beauty I see in each new day. Looking to the mountains, with many springs of fountains, wild life, glorious color, this is joy to me. If I am truly in need, God will freely give. Many times I'm feeling blue, but look, I do see a rare bird watching me. He is helping in ways I don't understand. My little eternal glow, my spirit and soul, fills me within, helping me along life's journey, knowing is He. When my time comes, I'll be with Him, in my mansion, in His kingdom, here money has no value.

Ole' House At Christmas Loving Christmas
Wintery cold bitter wind howling, wither'd trees look as lifeless.
Ole' house upon the hill, looks beatdown, Inst' the walls, love fills air, remembrance of Christ's birth.
Exchange gifts with thought of love, songs sung, family gathers, friends conen' go, felicity, kindness to fellow man.
The beauty, Christmas, the favorite time of year, all greatful to our, loving God and family.

Essence Of Life
The essence of life, "Christ" created earth, heaven's all that dwell upon it.
His silhouette made to follow of freewill.
Eternal life or damnation, He dwells in my heart, life, hope, He shines through me, to help others in some way.
I'm not perfect, I sin, as all do, just I'm forgiven, in this Lamb's blood forever.
Join me, accept Christ, in your life!!!

Fingertips
Feelings touch fingertips, Amend state of mine, he who fell behind, lifted, praise. Cattle graze, no thought. Food in jaw, beaver's paw. Aura, pine, albatross fly, perly sky, bow colors lambent, embellish all. Emulation, be best, meek beings. "God", created all, knows each hair, as a flair, listens, watches, all deeds done, in times to come, answer will all!!!

Dark To Light
Stupid is my name, fighting the game.
A little whiskey, to play the part.
Fighting and drinking, only to show, a tough ole' boy, stay out of my way.
My burden is with me, just try and change me.
Crashing the car, in total despair.
Remembering salvation I'd slid away from Jesus.
In my dark hour, calling on Him.
He gave the reasons, life should go on.
I know now, without Him, I'm nothing at all.

Lost Poem
Tis' I, so lost and forgotten, written with pride, a message divine in the writer's eye. This book is open, read me, if you please. I'm lonely here, if jumping out could change your mind, gladly I would. I'm a lost poem in a book, my message lost, forgotten, by all, for even my writer, forgot what to say.

Gate Of Pearls
In life's maze, trapped gaze, drift among nightly stars.
Lost u'mong time, search season's, wind howls, aura bitter taste, acidulous.
Spit, detest, await destiny, go float, as river water.
If when life is over, hope its journey finds this gate built of pearls.
Within, angels sing, meet one true "God"

Flowery Blooms
A place burns in mind, the sap of a rose. Lights my passage as a candle shines. Life passes by happy or sad, petals fall. Withered up rose, beauty lost, as time took. Memory forever to be a blessed part of me. Age looks harsh, wisdom memories grand. Life changes in many ways, except baldness, gray hair, infirm body, as if withering away. Born to die, mortal body shall pass as a splendid flower is to bloom.

Life's Song
Life's short, misery long, Keep on playin' like a derned ole' song. Move my lips, yet never sung. The wrong woman will bring you down, Sadistic as a stupid love song, only through God can we have some sanity, sing, sing. Raisin' children hard sone played, with love shown by example. Mom's-Dad's play so well, As I look around see children hurt, why, love is the key to life, God's the locksmith.

Oh Lord
I am unworthy, yet you love. I sin as habbit, freely you forgive. I act foolish, you guide. I lose my will, you show hope. I am a mortal, you made a saint. I forever wonder, how to repay. I am indebt to thee, all do freely, if asked, so humble, proud, filled with thy spirit am I yet. I don't know why you love, forgave a meer wretch, like me.

The Valley
Travel through ridges, frigid peaks, torrid flours, burned rope bridges, onward beseech to endure.
Vipers lurk in mist, foe many to balk destiny, yet God above as if a dove sends angels.
Guardian never seen hear not in common Wisdom, protected in pure love.
Forlorn feelings overwhelm times He guides, shapes troubles forming a knight fearless, nonchalant.
Darkness fear an ease, yet with night, comes day lambent rays from above little yet evoked in a lambs power.
When doubt cometh as mist, faith A must "Christian" be strong! Call unto follow "Christ our Lord". As no reason, act not like a heathen.

Surrounded By Love
Ambivalence crosses minds trees topel, agnst amend Goals balk forlorn thought Acidulous belly, flows jelly Attribute life's woes vastly river go Bestow upon God help free with a call. Burden test being, Game of life, fame or flame Listen Jesus sends nocturnal song, Beckons all. Dirty deeds as mountains high. Evil lurks about, emulation seems, meek, reach a splendid peak, girthed in His love.

A Moment In Time
Curvy ole' road one lane through mountain pass gaze upon glory as absolute essence formed Each piece a part in time aged pines scrubby oaks.
Venture a foot into woods floor of pine needles silent hope to peer at deer yet fear overwhelmes them Man a disease thought as death to wooded creatures.
Stop give thanks unto God for all we rule Wonder as in all sadness cometh upon a soul as sneaky mist Times depression kills balks minds leaves voids.
In that empty lost time yet time created all Six days our world formed. Faith a key unto a door no man can open, as none are worthy of this
As I look upon lands and seas none grow forth fruit to serve or praise Almighty God as honesty, faith trust major things of man died in a moment in time.
Dark days to come what then of man who doubts are divine Creator one only God bestowed His Son to save those who call upon Him. Jesus a ladder to greatness pearly gates lined in jewels gold streets for all that call and trust His name.
